Jaipur, Oct. 24 -- Deputy chief minister and tourism minister Diya Kumari on Thursday unveiled a wax statue of Mahavir Chakra awardee Brigadier Sawai Bhawani Singh at the Jaipur Wax Museum, Nahargarh, to mark his birth anniversary. Addressing the event, Kumari said, "Brigadier Sawai Bhawani Singh was not only a symbol of valour but also of discipline and compassion. His life continues to inspire generations, and seeing his likeness here at Nahargarh fills my heart with pride." The ceremony also featured a documentary highlighting his heroic role in the 1971 Indo-Pak war, for which he was awarded the Mahavir Chakra. Anoop Srivastava, founder- director of Jaipur Wax Museum, expressed pride in immortalising the Maharaja, noting that he was the first royal to join the Indian Army after Independence. He added that the museum's focus is on celebrating Rajasthan's warriors and royal heritage, with existing figures including Maharana Pratap, Sawai Jai Singh II, Sawai Ram Singh II, and Maharani Gayatri Devi....
