Jaipur, March 11 -- Rajasthan tourism minister Diya Kumari on Wednesday directed officials to launch day and night bus tours in Jaipur through a public-private partnership model to enhance the experience of tourists visiting the Pink City. Chairing a review meeting of the Tourism, Art, Literature and Culture and Archaeology departments, the minister instructed officials to prepare a detailed action plan for operating well-equipped luxury buses adorned with grand images of major tourist monuments. The initiative aims to provide structured sightseeing facilities for visitors during both daytime and evening hours. Reviewing the implementation of budget announcements for the financial year 2026-27, Diya Kumari directed that dance festivals based on region-specific traditional dance forms be organised at each divisional headquarters in the state. The move, she said, would provide a platform to local folk artists and offer tourists an opportunity to experience Rajasthan's rich regional culture. During the meeting, she also reviewed the functioning of the Tourist Assistance Force and instructed that guides be given refresher courses to ensure they provide authenticated information about local art, culture and history.
