Cong slams BJP over Aravallis, renaming MGNREGA
Jaipur, Dec. 29 -- State Congress president Govind Singh Dotasara launched a sharp attack on the BJP-led governments at the Centre and in Rajasthan, alleging that corruption has reached its peak under the present regime.
Addressing a seminar at the Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee headquarters on the occasion of the Congress party's foundation day, Dotasara said the so-called "double-engine government" is promoting corruption at double speed, claiming that even legitimate works of the common people are not getting done and that the entire government machinery and bureaucracy are neck-deep in corruption. Dotasara also announced that the AICC will launch a nationwide campaign from January 5 against attempts to dilute and end the MGNREGA.
BJP spokesperson Ramlal Sharma, said, "Dotasra has experience in how shares are allocated in illegal mining, as it happened during his government.
