Barmer/Jalore, Sept. 24 -- Congress MLA from Bhilwara, Ratan Devasi, has written to Congress national president Mallikarjun Kharge, alleging that a former minister belonging to his own party was allegedly constantly harassing him and his family, and also issuing death threats. The former minister's identity, however, has not been disclosed. In a post on social media, Devasi wrote that he would soon meet authorities to ensure concrete action, tagging several senior Congress leaders including Kharge, Rahul Gandhi and state Leader of Opposition Tikaram Jully, along with Rajasthan Police. Devasi wrote: "For years, my family has been facing threats from an ex-minister of the past government, along with his son and several other officials. They are allegedly seeking to harm my family with the support of certain individuals from Jalore, Sirohi, and the trustees of the Sundha Mata temple. My fight for the weaker sections of society, for a drug-free society, and other causes will continue. Time will tell. Not a long time, but will speak a day after." Speaking to reporters on Tuesday, Devasi said, "My children and family members are being tracked, and personal comments are being made against them. This is not the first time-it has been happening for a long period." When asked about the identity of the minister he accused, Devasi replied, "I do not want to create any ruckus. My purpose is to ensure action against them, because if they can harass a lawmaker, one can imagine what they could do to common people."He added that he was currently out of town and would disclose full details after meeting the SP....
