CM: Need support of all for holistic development
Jaipur, March 2 -- Chief minister Bhajan Lal Sharma on Sunday said that the Rajasthan government is committed to a holistic development of the state, which requires the participation and support of all communities.
"Moral awareness is crucial for the development of a society and the nation. In this direction, the tradition of self-introspection practised by Jains and many other Indian communities has guided the entire world. Our government is committed to a holistic development of the state which necessarily requires the support and participation of all these communities who will guide us forward," said the CM while addressing the JTR national conclave of the Jain International Trade Organisation (JITO) Town Representatives in Jaipur.
He added: "The dream of an Atmanirbhar Bharat will only place India as the biggest economy in the world one day. Prime minister Narendra Modi has always prioritised the traditions and cultures for the growth of this country. We have seen how he made India the fourth largest economy of the world which was at 11th rank in 2014 when he took to the power. We are now also expecting to become the third largest economy in the world in next few years. This achievement would never have been possible without the participation of all the communities."
Calling upon everyone to contribute in making an Atmanirbhar Bharat, he further added, "To make India a self-reliant country, we need to promote and increase usage of domestic products while we also need to keep our culture and ideas alive. Value-based leadership, social unity, and spiritual consciousness are the foundation of India's bright future. We must prioritize honesty, transparency, public service, and ethics in our decisions. Furthermore, we must be sensitive to each other and place a sense of duty above all else."
Praising the Jain community's contribution in building the nation, he also said, "This community has always been working for the country's welfare. They are putting effort not only for the development of their own but also for the other parts of the society. They have taughts us to stay united in any circumstances. Meanwhile, they have also advanced Indian civilization and culture for centuries. Based on the values of non-violence, compassion, and truth, it has made an incomparable contribution to the formation of Indian civilization."
Sharma also urged the youth to learn from the Jain community how they have still contributed in the industrial growth of the state and created job opportunities. "This community's effort and contribution in the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit and Pravasi Rajasthani Divas Summit will always be remembered. They have participated in large numbers in both the summits, signed a bunch of MoUs and are also working to implement them on the ground for the development of our state." he said....
