CM: Committed to develop world-class tourism facilities
Jaipur, April 29 -- Chief minister Bhajan Lal Sharma said that the state government is committed to developing world-class facilities at tourism destinations. He directed officials to ensure the preservation of Rajasthan's glorious heritage, so future generations can understand, learn about, and take pride in the state's history.
Addressing a review meeting at the chief minister's residence on Monday, focusing on the budget announcements for the tourism, art, culture, and archaeology department. He stressed that all tourism-related development projects should be completed on time, as delays lead to cost overruns and revenue loss. He also called for accountability among officials for pending tasks.
Sharma directed the tourism department to establish a state-level museum in Jaipur. He said the museum should showcase Rajasthan's royal heritage and vibrant art and culture from all regions of the state, so that visitors from any area can get acquainted with the state's rich heritage....
