Chief minister Bhajan Lal Sharma inaugurated and laid foundation stones for 38 projects worth over Rs.339 crore at a women's empowerment conference and public meeting in Dudhalia, while rolling out new welfare measures, infrastructure upgrades, and sector-specific initiatives to bolster livelihoods, services and amenities across the district.

Under the Lado Protsahan Yojana, financial aid was transferred to girl children, with assistance increased from Rs.1 lakh to Rs.1.5 lakh. Over 4.6 lakh girls across Rajasthan have benefited from the scheme so far, including more than 34,000 in Jhalawar.
