Jaipur, Sept. 17 -- Rajasthan chief minister Bhajan Lal Sharma will inaugurate a state-wide campaign of Rural and Urban Service Camps on September 17, coinciding with the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The initiative aims to provide citizens with speedy access to government services, faster disposal of pending cases, and direct benefits of welfare schemes. An official release from the CM office states, the CM will launch the Urban Service Camps from Malviya Nagar Community Centre in Jaipur and the Rural Service Camps from Bassi. These camps will continue across the state until October 17. According to the urban development and housing department, citizens will also receive attractive concessions during the camps. For example, if pending lease dues are cleared in a lump sum up to FY 2025-26, a 100% waiver on interest will be granted with other relaxations. The camps will act as a single-window platform where citizens can avail multiple services in one place. Issues like sanitation, blocked drainage points, repair of streetlights, patchwork on roads, development of parks, repair of drains, manholes and sewer lines will be addressed. Rural Service Camps will focus on extending basic facilities and government schemes to villages. These will be organized in two gram panchayats on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays....
