Jaipur, Sept. 13 -- Rajasthan chief minister Bhajan Lal Sharma will launch Gram Seva Camps across all gram panchayats from September 17 to deliver government schemes, basic facilities, and welfare services directly to rural residents. Revenue department's principal secretary Dinesh Kumar said the initiative aims to provide relief to rural residents through cleanliness drives, infrastructure expansion, and doorstep access to government benefits. A parallel Sahakar Membership Campaign will also be launched. As per the plan, camps will be held every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm. Two gram panchayats in each panchayat samiti will be covered daily, and the campaign will continue until every gram panchayat has hosted a camp. During the cooperative membership drive starting October 2, related activities will also be merged with the Gram Seva Camps, he said. Kumar said district collectors will be responsible for planning, implementation, monitoring, and review of the camps at the district level. Each camp will have designated in-charges for smooth execution. The government has directed that issues raised in the camps be resolved on the same day, or listed department-wise for time-bound redressal. The camps will cover a wide range of services including health check-ups, UID card distribution, animal health camps, approvals for school repairs under MP/MLA local area development funds, and settlement of land-related disputes such as partition, naming, and right-of-way cases.htc...
