CM hits back at Cong over objections to G Ram G Act
Jaipur, Jan. 17 -- Chief minister Bhajan Lal Sharma on Friday launched a sharp attack on the Congress, accusing the opposition party of deliberately spreading confusion over every major policy and initiative of the BJP-led governments.
Speaking at the state-level workshop of the VB-G Ramji Janjagran Abhiyan, Sharma said that on one hand Prime Minister Narendra Modi is working to take the ideals of Babasaheb Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar and Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay to the last person in society, while on the other hand Congress leaders remain busy finding faults in every scheme. "Whether it is the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), the issue of EVMs or the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of voter lists, Congress tries to create confusion on every issue," he said.
The chief minister also took a swipe at the Congress for objecting to the name VB-G RAM G. He said the name was derived by taking 'RA' from Rajasthan and 'M' from Madhya Pradesh, which naturally led to the naming of the important ERCP project as Ram Jal Setu. "If the Congress has a problem even with the name of Ram, what can we do? It is the law of nature that what is destined will happen," Sharma said, adding that both the state and the country were gradually moving towards "Ram Rajya".

This is the era of Prime Minister Modi. Neither will corruption be allowed, nor will anyone be allowed to indulge in corruption," he asserted. Sharma said the Congress was distressed because it could no longer carry out corrupt practices. He added that if corruption had occurred anywhere, the Modi government would bring it to light.
Calling the Congress "number one in lies and misinformation," the chief minister said exposing falsehoods had become the biggest necessity today, as the party continued to rely on appeasement-based politics.
Appealing to party workers, Sharma urged them to take the VB-G Ramji Janjagran Abhiyan to every village and hamlet. He said people must be informed that Prime Minister Modi had ensured not 100 but 125 days of employment and provided a guarantee of wage payment within 15 days.
Highlighting the government's commitment to youth employment, Sharma said the double-engine government was fully focused on job creation. "So far, more than 100,000 youth have been given appointments, recruitment for 143,000 posts is underway, and a recruitment calendar for another 100,000 posts has already been issued," he said. He added that the Congress had been told to keep a pen and diary ready, as the government would give a complete account of every promise....
