Jaipur, May 16 -- Chief minister Bhajan Lal Sharma and state sports secretary Neeraj K Pawan received a threat on Thursday through an email that also threatened to blow up the Sawai Man Singh stadium, police said. "The email was sent by an individual, Divij Prabhakara, to the official e-mail IDs of Sharma and Pawan. The person also threatened to blow up the SMS stadium. This is the sixth time in the last one week the stadium received such threat. The email was received at 4.12 am on Thursday," a senior officer from the Jaipur police commissionerate, concerned to the matter, said. "Following the matter, security staff were increased for the CM, Pawan. The stadium premises was also throughly checked but nothing found so far," he further said, adding that a case has been registered. He said that the e-mail was sent from an ID- divijprabhakara0@gmail.com. HT has seen a copy of the e-mail shared by the police. It read: "We will murder Neeraj K Pawan cut him into pieces and pack him in a black suitcase and keep a timebomb and keep him in the cricket stadium. If police catch us we will say we are mentally unstable and police will leave us. We already have medical certificate from doctor." The e-mail further said that the threat was given to CM, Pawan, and the stadium as a rape survivor in Hyderabad did not get justice since 2003. A similar claim was made on Sunday when the SMS stadium received the third bomb threat. "Daughter-in-law is not happy with rapist Divij. Police is sleeping they cannot do anything and they don't know how to investigate properly. If we keep innocent face police will leave us. We can murder even CM and police will not do anything. If required we will murder even Bhajan Lal Sharma. We are sending all these bomb threats mails to Cricket Stadiums to bring police to attention about the rapist who raped a girl in Lemon Tree Hotel in Hyderabad on 2003. Divij uncle started his naughty work in 2022," the e-mail read. It also continued, "Prabhakara and Lakshmi torture for one crore cash in dowry. They don't care that their son is a rapist. Prabhakar has home loan car loan and luxury bike and phones. He is not employed so he tortures daughter-in-law for dowry. Why is police not able to investigate Prabhakara and Lakshmi regarding dowry and rapist Divij....Jaipur stadium and Rajasthan CM are under risk. Save them if you can." The officer quoted above said, "This trail of threats seem to be a part of a cyber warfare that have been launched by Pakistan post Operation Sindoor. The only aim of these threats to create a panic. The emails were sent through VPN and we are under process to identify the sender." Three district collectorates in Rajasthan - Alwar, Baran, and Pratapgarh - on Wednesday received a bomb threat while Jaipur's SMS stadium received such threats twice in a day. The sender claimed to take a revenge of Operation Sindoor. Commenting on the development, ex-CM Ashok Gehlot said, "These threats are really concerning. Earlier, the CM had received such life threats many times. People are worried about their own security when the safety of the CM is at stake. The crime rates have been increasing in the last one and half year. Rajasthan's people want to know when will there be an improvement in the situation?" Between the period of January 2024 to March this year, Sharma received at least four life threats - all from some prisoners of the central jails across the state. "They used to call at the control room by obtaining some mobile phones illegally inside the jail to give the threat. We have arrested all the accused and also took action against all the jail staff involved in all those cases," said the officer quoted above....
