Jaipur, Sept. 7 -- Chief minister Bhajan Lal Sharma on Saturday flagged off 162 buses including Blue Line Express Buses under the Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation (RSRTC) from 11 bus depots across the state and also two super luxury bus services from Jaipur to Kathgodam (Kanchidham). "...160 Blue Line Express buses have been made available to 12 different bus depots of the state, which include Vaishali Nagar, Vidyadhar Nagar, Shahpura, Jaipur, Hindaun, Dausa, Ajmer, Ajaymeru, Kotputli, Dholpur, Sawaimadhopur, Bhilwara," said the chief minister. Officials said the buses are also BSVI compliant. "To provide citizens with safe, well-organized and modern transport facilities for the general public, the state is continuously moving ahead on the path of progress. It is the priority of the state government to ensure access to every facility to the last person of the society. With the operation of new buses, along with ease in managing the increasing traffic pressure, the general public will be able to get better transport facilities," the CM said during the event in Jaipur's Amar Jawan Jyoti. "The people of the state have been given the gift of bus service from Jaipur to Kathgodam (Uttarakhand). This will provide convenience to the passengers going to Baba Neem Karauli Dham (Kainchidham) and will promote religious tourism. To provide easy religious transportation to the general public, the state government has been providing bus facility to religious places like Ayodhya, Govardhan, Salasar Balaji, Ramdevra, Shrinathji, Shrikarni Mata and Kailadevi since last year."...
