CM approves land for stone park in Bundi
Jaipur, June 12 -- Chief minister Bhajanlal Sharma has approved the allocation of 47.07 hectares of land to Rajasthan State Industrial Development and Investment Corporation Limited (RIICO) for the establishment of a stone park in Kachhalia village of Taleda tehsil in Bundi district.
The decision, in line with the state budget announcement for the year 2025-26, is expected to accelerate industrial growth in the region. The proposed Stone Park will promote industrial investment, generate employment opportunities for local youth, and provide an organised platform for mineral-based industries, states a release by the CMO. The land has been set apart under Section 92 of the Rajasthan Land Revenue Act, 1956 and allotted under Rule 11A of the Rajasthan Land Revenue (Allotment for Industrial Areas) Rules, 1959. Only non-polluting industrial units will be allowed to operate in the Stone Park, and these units must be established at least 1.5 kilometers away from residential areas.
In another significant decision, CM Sharma also approved the allocation of 34.41 hectares of land to the Forest Department in Chhabra tehsil of Baran district under the Ram Jal Setu Link Project, part of the Eastern Rajasthan Canal Project (ERCP).
The land allocation is part of the compensatory mechanism for the construction of the Ramgarh and Mehalpur barrages, and the Navnera-Galwa-Bisalpur-Isarda link project. HTC...
