Jodhpur, May 2 -- Director general of the Border Security Force (BSF), Daljit Singh Chaudhary, conducted a detailed review of the security situation during his two-day visit to forward areas along the international border, according to an official statement issued on Thursday. "The director general along with senior officers including Inspector General (Operations) Dinesh Kumar Boora and DIG & Principal Staff Officer VM Singh from BSF headquarters in New Delhi concluded the two-day visit at the forward areas along the international border on Wednesday. The team inspected several forward border outposts in the Bikaner sector, particularly the Khajuwala unit, and assessed operational readiness on the ground," BSF spokesperson said. The visit was part of a larger strategy to ensure preparedness and inter-agency collaboration in safeguarding the sensitive border region," the official said. The official further said that the DG encouraged them to remain vigilant and committed to their duties round-the-clock. "In view of the current circumstances, it is imperative to stay alert at all times and uphold the honour of the BSF through unwavering dedication," he told the personnel. "During his inspection, the BSF chief issued specific directions to further strengthen the border security apparatus. He emphasised the need to enhance the operational efficiency of technological systems deployed along the international border," the spokesperson said. BSF Rajasthan Frontier inspector general ML Garg briefed the DG about the security arrangements and recent developments along the border.
