Bikaner, Jan. 10 -- A joint team of the Border Security Force (BSF) and Bikaner Police seized 500 grams of heroin near the India-Pakistan border, police said on Friday. Circle Officer (Khajuwala) Amarjeet Chawla said that an operation was launched based on specific inputs from the BSF Intelligence unit regarding potential smuggling activities. The contraband was recovered on Thursday in the Chak 40 KJD area of the Khajuwala subdivision in Bikaner. Preliminary probe suggests the narcotics were dropped by a drone from across the border. While no arrests have been made yet, forces have intensified patrolling in the region to trace suspects involved in the smuggling attempt.aparnesh goswami...
