Alwar, Nov. 10 -- A 36-year-old man was hospitalised after he was allegedly attacked by his 16-year-old son late on Saturday evening in Alwar district, police said on Sunday, adding that the cause was under investigation. "Police have arranged counselling for the boy and also sent him for a medical evaluation," said Aravali Vihar station house officer Rameshwar Lal. The father is reportedly in a stable condition, district hospital doctors said. "Prima facie, the assault seems to have stemmed from a domestic dispute," said Lal. The boy's father sustained serious injuries on his nose and private parts as the result of the attack, he added. The boy was in the news for allegedly vandalising an idol at a nearby temple two days earlier, he said, adding that the allegations were confirmed by CCTV footage.
