Jaipur/Alwar, May 15 -- Three district collectorate offices in Rajasthan on Wednesday received a hoax bomb threat while Jaipur's Sawai Man Singh stadium has received yet another threat twice in a day, making this the fifth such threat in the last week, said officials. A senior police officer from the police headquarter of the state said, "The collectorates in Alwar, Pratapgarh, and Baran received this threat at 10 am on Wednesday which claimed to blow up the premises by 2 pm. Meanwhile, the SMS stadium in Jaipur also got two threats from a different sender. However, all these threats turned out to be a hoax." According to the officials, the threats to the three collectorates were sent from the same ID of an individual, Jameesha Muveen. The Alwar Additional District Magistrate (ADM), Bina Mahawar, said, "The e-mail said that they are planning to blow up the collectorate as the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) wants to start a communal battle in the state. We have immediately informed the police who vacated the entire premises and conducted a thorough search. Nothing was found so far." The Pratapgarh SP, Vineet Bansal said, "A similar threat was also received by the Pratapgarh Collector in his official ID in the morning which turned out to be a hoax. We are trying to trace the e-mail ID sent." Meanwhile, SMS stadium received two bomb threats in a day claiming to be a revenge of Operation Sindoor, only a day after another claiming to seek attention of the Rajasthan government to ensure justice for a rape victim from Hyderabad in 2003, said officials. The stadium also got two such hoax threats claiming to be the revenge of Operation Sindoor. Another senior official of Jaipur police said,"this trail of threats seem to be a part of a cyber warfare that have been launched by Pakistan."...
