Alwar, Dec. 17 -- The Alwar administration was put on high alert on Tuesday after the Mini Secretariat received a bomb threat via email, prompting the deployment of heavy police force and intensified security measures across the premises. Alwar additional district collector Beena Mahawar said this was the third time the Mini Secretariat has received a bomb threat. According to the ADM, the content of the email was identical to the previous threats. The subject line stated that "revenge for Pakistan and Tamil Nadu will now be taken by blowing up the district collectorate." She further informed that the threat email was traced to an IP address located in Tamil Nadu. As a precautionary measure, employees were alerted, and a metal detector team was called in to conduct thorough checks across the premises. Security teams carried out extensive searches at multiple locations within the Mini Secretariat. The ADM said: "In the earlier instances, a written complaint had been submitted to the superintendent of police, and an FIR had been registered, though the investigation report is still awaited. Police are once again probing the source of the threat." In a similar incident, the state high court (Jaipur bench) and Neem-Ka-Thana railway station also received bomb threats via email. "The threat was sent to the official email ID of Jaipur session court at 7.30 am saying that three bombs have been installed at the washroom of the judges in the high court," said ACP Ashok Nagar, Bala Ram. Meanwhile, additional Collector of Neem Ka Thana, Bhagirath Sankh, said, "The threat was received by the station control room in the early morning. The called said that a bomb has been installed in the station which will blow up."...
