Bomb hoax at Ajmer Dargah, HC building
Jaipur, Dec. 11 -- The Ajmer Dargah, Ajmer collectorate, and the Rajasthan high court (Jaipur Bench) received another hoax bomb threat on Wednesday, officials said.
While it was the third consecutive day when the high court got such a threat, the Dargah and Ajmer collectorate had received a threat on Sunday.
ADM, Ajmer city, Narendra Meena, said, "...The mail read that some RDX have been installed at both the collectorate and Dargah premises which will blow up in a few hours."
"The entire premises were vacated, we ran a search operation for over two hours. However, nothing suspicious was found. The threat appeared to be a hoax," said Deepak Sharma, Additional SP of Ajmer.
Meanwhile, the high court's registrar (Chief Protocol Cell) received an email at 8am threatening a bomb blast in the court.
Jaipur DCP (South), Rajarshi Rajverma, said it was the same mail the court received in the last two days in which the sender said they installed six RDX at the premises, adding it was a hoax.
