Udaipur, June 15 -- The 40-year-old son of a former BJP MP was found dead inside a library on Saturday morning, police officers aware of the matter said, adding that they suspected it to be case of suicide. Station house officer (SHO) Mukesh Soni said that the library was owned by the deceased. "Around 7.15am, students arrived at the library, and did not receive any response. They somehow managed to enter inside and found him lying unresponsive on the floor. A piece of a towel was seen hanging from a hook on the ceiling." "Police immediately reached the spot and sent the body to hospital for post-mortem examination. The actual cause of death will be confirmed after the medical report will be available. Police are currently investigating the reasons that may have led the victim to take such a step," he added. "We are probing whether he was under any recent mental duress that led to his death," said the SHO.
