Jaipur, Aug. 22 -- The Rajasthan Housing Board launched five new residential schemes across Udaipur, Baran, Bundi, Dholpur, and Barmer, offering a total of 667 affordable houses and flats for different income groups. Inaugurating the schemes at the Housing Board headquarters on Wednesday, urban development and housing minister Jhabar Singh Kharra said the initiative was "not just about construction, but a step towards ensuring a safe and dignified life for the people of the state." Under five special registration schemes, a total of 667 houses and flats will be developed in Udaipur, Baran, Bundi, Dholpur, and Barmer districts, offering affordable housing options to people from different income groups. The newly launched schemes include 72 houses under the Nainwa Housing Scheme in Bundi, 189 houses in the Atru Housing Scheme at Baran, 200 houses in the Langera Housing Scheme at Barmer, 64 flats in the Bari Road Scheme at Dholpur, and 142 flats in Paneria ki Madri, Udaipur. These projects cater to different income groups, with prices starting from Rs.7.60 lakh to Rs.12.45 lakh. Kharra said, "Under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, the state government is committed to providing housing for all. This is not just about giving homes, but ensuring people a dignified way of life." He further assured that all projects will be executed in a time-bound, transparent, and quality-driven manner, equipped with modern facilities for beneficiaries. Food and Civil Supplies Minister Sumit Godara, who was also present, praised the Housing Board's efforts, calling it the "first choice for common people's housing needs." He also urged the Board to launch new housing projects in Shivbari, Bikaner. It is noteworthy that in May this year, the Housing Board had already launched five schemes with 427 houses in Jaipur, Baran, Bundi, and Dholpur in the state....
