Jaipur, May 9 -- The forest authorities have imposed a ban on entry of private vehicles to the temples at the Ranthambore Tiger Reserve and Sariska Tiger Reserve, officials aware of the matter said on Thursday, citing heightened tiger movement and growing concerns over tourists' safety. The development took place after a seven-year-old boy was killed in a tiger attack on April 16, while returning from Trinetra Ganesh Temple at the Ranthambore reserve, they added. "Private vehicles coming from outside the district and state should not be allowed to park inside the reserve," he said. Conservator of forest and field director for the Sariska reserve, Sangram Singh Katiyar, said, "Only forest-authorised or state transport buses will be permitted to carry passengers to the temple." htc...
