Jaipur, Jan. 29 -- Two people including a cardiac patient were killed while four others were injured in Jaipur when an ambulance overturned in Ajmer-Delhi expressway (NH-48) on Tuesday night. ASI of Accident West police station, Raghu Nandan, said, "The accident occured near the Nivaru in Kardhani area of Jaipur. The ambulance was carrying a patient, his brother, and three nursing staff. The patient and his brother were killed." According to officials, the vehicle was heading towards a private hospital in Mansarovar from another hospital in Chomu to shift the cardiac patient Siraj Uddin (67). "The ambulance was probably overspeeding to quickly shift Siraj Uddin given his critical condition.
