Bharatpur, Dec. 20 -- Seven police personnel were suspended on Friday after they were reportedly found guilty of misusing the Rajasthan Government Health Scheme(RGHS) in Bharatpur. The suspended cops were identified as Manju Kumari, Satyavati, Mithlesh Kumari, Yogesh Kumari, Prahlad Singh, Jitendra Singh and Manoj Kumar. Digant Anand, superintendent of police said the home ministry launched an investigation into RGHS after many departments, including police department, were reported to be involved in corruption to accrue financial benefits. "After being directed by the home ministry, seven officers in Bharatpur were found to be involved in fraud and have been suspended." Involvement of other officers is also suspected. The police are also investigating the role of the medical stores, pharmacies and doctors.
