Bharatpur, May 13 -- Four smugglers were arrested for transporting about two tonnes of poppy husk Rs.2 crore on Monday in Bharatpur, police said. Mridul Kachawa,Bharatpur Superintendent of Police said that on being informed, police team was deployed to barricade at the Uncha Nagla border of Uttar Pradesh on Agra-Jaipur national highway-21. A truck was transporting drugs while three smugglers were escorting the truck in a scorpio jeep. The arrested smugglers were identified as truck driver Babu Singh,39, native of Jodhpur, Revant Ram,30,native of Phalodi, Mukhtyar Singhi,25,native of Phalodi and Mohammed Sareek,34,native of Phalodi.
