Bharatpur, June 28 -- Police arrested four men Friday on the charges of gang raping and murdering a girl in Dholpur district, police officers aware of the matter said. The incident came to light when the family of a 16-year-old girl found her hanging on a tree in a forest near the village on Thursday. Her father registered complaint on Friday against four neighbours alleging that they killed his daughter after kidnapping and gang raping her. According to the family, the girl was missing when they woke up on Thursday morning, police said, adding that they began looking for the girl and found her in the forest. Police reached the spot and called the forensic science laboratory team to collect clues. Chhavi Foujdar, station house officer of Dholpur women's police station said that the body was handed over to family members after autopsy.
