3 minors drown in canal while taking bath in hanumangarh
Bharatpur, June 17 -- Three minor children, including two brothers, allegedly drowned in a canal on Monday when they took their goats for grazing in Hanumangarh district, police officers aware of the matter said. The incident took place under the jurisdiction of Pilibanga police station.
The deceased were identified as Krishan Bawariya, 10, his brother Bakeel Bawariya, 10 and Raman Kumar, 12, they said.
The incident took place when the boys entered the canal to take a bath but subsequently failed to reappear.
Pilibanga police station in-charge Kailash Chand said that police reached the spot upon being informed of the incident, and subsequently called divers who recovered the children's bodies from the canal.
They were rushed to the hospital where doctors declared them dead. Their bodies will be handed over to family members after post-mortem examination, added Chand.
Krishan Bawariya and Bakeel Bawariya were twins, while Raman Kumar was their neighbour, said Chand.
The victim's family members have registered a complaint and an investigation will be initiated, he added....
