3 men escape attack by a tiger in Karauli
Bharatpur, Nov. 5 -- Three men narrowly escaped from an attack by a tiger when they were on their way to attend a wedding in Karauli, officials said on Tuesday. The incident took place on Sunday evening in Maharajpur forest range, when the three friends, were travelling to Khandar in Sawai Madhopur from Karauli on a motorcycle.
A tiger-T-18 who was in the forest area, attacked the men on the motorcycle but they managed to escape from the area.
Girdhari Saini, Hariom Chaudhary and Mahesh Yogi, all from Maharajpur village were riding their motorcycle, with Yogi sitting at the back. He sustained injuries in the attack. He was taken to Sawai Madhopur district hospital by locals from where he was discharged after treatment on Monday.
Forest officer Rajesh Singh said that the tiger's movement was traced in Maharajpur forest range after recording his pugmarks. Following the incident, a forest team has been deployed for patrolling. htc...
