3 members of family electrocuted in Ajmer
Jaipur, June 5 -- At least three people were killed after being electrocuted when they came in contact of a high-tension wire while plastering a wall at their own under-construction resistance in Kekadi, said officials.
Savar station house officer, Banwari Lal said, "The incident took place at 7 am on Wednesday. Four of the family members have been working at the roof when it heppened. Three died on the spot while another is undergoing treatment in a critical condition."
According to the police, the incident occurred in Kekadi's Visundani village. "Prema Devi (60), her daughter Maya Devi (45), Maya's husband Kanwar Lal (50), and Prema's younger daughter Tara Devi (22) have been plastering a wall of their new house. Meanwhile, Kanwar started spraying water on a newly-plastered wall with a pipe. However, the water-flow suddenly touched a high-tension wire passing above leading to the accident," said the SHO....
