Barmer/Sirohi, Aug. 5 -- Three people including two women were killed in Sirohi district on Monday when the wall of an under construction house collapsed in Rohida area of Pindwara tehsil. Pindwara circle officer Bhawarlal Chaudhary said the incident occurred around 12.15 pm in Bharja village, where a house belonging to Bhuraram, a resident of Tarungi, was under construction. "During the construction work, a wall unexpectedly gave way, trapping eight labourers who were working at the site. Three of them, including two women, died on the spot, while five others sustained serious injuries," he said. "Upon receiving the information, police teams from Rohida and Swaroopganj rushed to the scene. The trapped workers were rescued and rushed to the sub-district health center in Abu Road," he said. Till filing of this report, two injured labourers are being treated there, three critically injured workers were referred to the Sirohi district hospital for advanced care. The deceased were identified as Pipli alias Deepli (40), wife of Moyla Ram Bheel, and Kali Bai, wife of Chunnilal, both residents of Bharja, along with Dinesh Bheel (18), son of Orsiya from Watra village.
