Udaipur, March 19 -- A man died and another was injured after their vehicle fell into a pit in Udaipur district's Sukher late on Tuesday, police said. According to Sukher station house officer Bharat Yogi, the deceased was identified as Himanshu Salvi,from Bohra Ganeshji. The injured, Rahul Singh, is currently undergoing treatment at a hospital. "Both had gone out for some work and were returning home when the accident occurred," said SHO Bharat Yogi. The incident reportedly took place around 11pm when their car lost control while taking a turn near a temple and fell into a pit about 10-12 feet deep. Passersby informed the police, who reached the spot and shifted the body to the mortuary of MB Hospital. The injured was admitted for treatment. Locals said that accidents frequently occur at this turn. Around 14 days ago, a motorcyclist also died at the same spot.
