3 killed,1 injured in Pali road accident
Barmer/Pali, Feb. 15 -- At least three people died and another sustained injuries after two motorcycles they were travelling on collided head-on in the Falna police station area in Pali district late on Friday, police said on Saturday.
According to police the incident took place around 8.30 pm on the Rani-Khimel Road near Pawan Vatika.
On receiving the information, police reached at the spot. According to police, the impact was so severe that both motorcycles were completely wrecked, with parts scattered across the road.
SHO of Rani Police Station Arun Kumar said: "Ajay Mali (21) and Ajay Meghwal (21), both residents of Rani, were on the same bike, and were traveling towards Falna. The other motorcycle was ridden by Prem Kumar (27), and Shravan Kumar (30), residents of Khimel, heading towards Rani."
All four riders were thrown onto the road after the collision. Locals immediately informed the police and rushed the injured to Rani Hospital via ambulance. Doctors declared Prem Kumar, Shravan, and Ajay Mali dead on arrival.
While Ajay Meghwal, who sustained injuries, was referred to Pali for advanced treatment.
Police have kept the bodies in the mortuary at Rani Hospital and initiated further investigation into the incident. Postmortem will be conducted on Saturday....
