Jaipur, Jan. 6 -- Three people were killed and four others seriously injured in a road accident on the Reengus-Khatushyamji road in Rajasthan's Sikar district late on Sunday night, police said, adding that the mishap occurred when a passenger vehicle and a car collided head-on. According to police, four friends were travelling in the car to Khatushyamji for darshan when the accident took place. Two of them, identified as Gaurav Saini and Ajay Saini, residents of Chomu Purohitan, were killed in the crash. The third deceased was identified as Ajay Devanda, a resident of Reengus, who was driving the passenger vehicle. Following the accident, the body of Gaurav Saini was kept at the mortuary in Khatushyamji, while the body of Ajay Devanda was shifted to the mortuary of Reengus hospital. Gaurav Saini and Ajay Saini were close friends. Of the four injured, three were admitted to Reengus hospital, while one was taken to Khatushyamji for first aid. Considering the critical condition of all the injured, doctors later referred them to Jaipur for advanced treatment. Police are investigating the circumstances leading to the accident....
