2 officials held over bribery charges: acb
Jaipur, Jan. 29 -- The Anti-Corruption Bureau on Tuesday arrested two forest officials for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs.10,000. The accused, Ratipal Singh, a forest guard, and Omprakash Mitharwal, a forester were caught red-handed while taking the bribe in the Chann Naka Chimnpura area of the Nahargarh Sanctuary Range in Jaipur. Director general ACB Ravi Prakash Mehra said the complaint was filed after the accused demanded Rs.10,000 in exchange for not obstructing the construction of two shops owned by the complainant. htc...
