India, July 13 -- Sarod maestro Ustad Amjad Ali Khan hopes the world soon heals from the scars of the Covid-19 crisis, and is praying for music to be the harbinger of peace and harmony in these troubled times.

"For me, the pandemic was a universal interference. It has been very bad for people of every section, especially in the creative world," he rues, hoping that normalcy would soon be restored. "We're praying to the Almighty, for the planet to heal fast, and to be able to perform live and serve the people of the world, through our music," Khan tells us.
