'Needy section should benefit from schemes'
Jaipur, April 29 -- Social justice and empowerment Minister Avinash Gehlot has emphasized that officials must adopt micro-management strategies to ensure the effective implementation of welfare schemes. He said that every individual from the underprivileged and needy sections of the society should directly benefit from the government's social security initiatives.
Addressing a department review meeting, he said chief minister Bhajan Lal Sharma's vision is to ensure that the benefits of welfare schemes reach every eligible individual at the grassroots level.
Gehlot discussed pending points from the budget announcements for the financial year 2024-25 and reviewed the progress made so far on the announcements for the financial year 2025-26.
A detailed progress report of all schemes operated by the department up to the current date was presented. The latest updates on the Anuprati Coaching Scheme and the progress reports of divisional committees formed for purchasing supplies for hostels were also reviewed. Discussions were also held on opening offices in new blocks, construction of new buildings and approval of new posts....
