India, May 9 -- More than a year after her split with businessman Bharat Takhtani, Esha Deol has opened up about their current equation and why she doesn't like to label herself as a single mom. In an appearance on YouTube channel Mamaraazzi, the 43-year-old was asked whether being a single mom to two daughters was a challenge or a fulfilling experience. To this, the actor said, "I don't like to think of myself as a single mother because I don't behave like one, nor do I let the other person behave that way with me." She further explained that she and Bharat, as parents and 'mature individuals', have worked to develop a new dynamic for the sake of their children, Radhya (8) and Miraya (6). Esha also emphasised the importance of mastering time management, sharing her own strategies for balancing work and parenting responsibilities while ensuring quality time with her kids. She said, "Without it, if your schedule goes for a toss, it creates guilt and mismanagement. On my day off, I spend the entire day with my kids and do things that they enjoy so they feel that I am giving them 100% attention.
