India, Dec. 12 -- Music composer Amaal Mallik had claimed earlier this year that he was the original composer of Bekhayali, the hit song from 2019 film Kabir Singh. However, musician-couple Sachet-Paramapara who composed the song have now rubbished the claim in an Instagram Reel. Amaal, the couple says, had heard the track well before its release and even congratulated them: "Which is why his claims that he made in an interview earlier this year came as both a surprise and a blow to us." Parampara says, "Amaal comes from a family that has been in the business for 40 years, and he has all the right sources and connections in the industry. In the clip, the duo directly asked Amaal to respond to the accusation they believe he initiated unfairly. "We request you to come up with some answers. I need an apology from you because you tried to defame us on social media," Sachet said. During a chat, Amaal had claimed that Sachet-Parampara used his references for Bekhayali. He alleged that he had sent musical references on WhatsApp and claimed those references were used to make the final song. He further claimed he had a deal with the makers for the full Kabir Singh album featuring six songs, but it was eventually reduced to just one. However, Amaal Mallik has not responded to Sachet-Parampara's video....
