Jaipur, July 6 -- All Congress leaders in Rajasthan are working together to strengthen the party without keeping any 'ego', the party's state in-charge Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa said on Saturday. Speaking to the media in Jaipur, he said, "No leader in the party has any ego anymore. All are working together only to take the Congress forward and strengthen the organisation. We have a meeting with all the leaders today. During the meeting we have identified leaders who are not performing well. Action will be taken against them." Ahead of the Panchayat and civic bodies election across the state later this year, the Congress leadership including Randhawa, state president Govind Dotasra, leader of opposition Tikaram Jully, and many other key leaders held a meeting with all district presidents and coordinators of assembly constituencies. "Congress is in the strongest position in Rajasthan among all the North Indian states. I am satisfied with the party's progress here. Our high command has given us a free hand to take all the necessary steps to make it stronger," said Randhawa. Slamming the Bharatiya Janata Party led government, Dotasra said, "They want the matter to be taken up at the high court by the opposition so that they can delay the election till 2027 making the judicial process an excuse."...
