'A new India is taking shape'
Jaipur, May 23 -- Rajasthan chief minister Bhajan Lal Sharma on Thursday hailed Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership for shaping a "new India," crediting him for the success of Operation Sindoor and bold military action across the border.
Praising several key initiatives, including Vibrant Villages Programme-2, Ram Jal Setu Link, and Yamuna Water Agreement, the CM said that the double-engine government is driving rapid development and record investments across the state.
Sharma said, "Under the leadership of the PM, the resolve of 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas' has laid the foundation of a new India". Congratulating the PM on the success of Operation Sindoor, he stated that under Modi's leadership, the military strength of new India has decimated terrorist bases and airfields in Pakistan. During Operation Sindoor, the entire nation swelled with pride at the bravery of the Indian Armed Forces. He added that Modi has approved Vibrant Villages Programme-2 for the development of border villages, aiming to integrate them into the mainstream by improving living standards and creating ample livelihood opportunities.
He said, "The double-engine government is ensuring that the people of the state benefit fully from the central and state government's welfare schemes."
He added that the foundation laying and inauguration of key projects by the Prime Minister today will accelerate development not just in Rajasthan but across the country.
Highlighting the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit, he said that MoUs worth over Rs.35 lakh crore were signed, and within a short span, projects worth Rs.3.25 lakh crore have already been grounded.
Sharma extended special thanks to the PM on behalf of the people of Rajasthan for the gift of the Ram Jal Setu Link Project and the Yamuna Water Agreement.
The CM said that Modi believes there are only four true communities in the country - the poor, youth, farmers, and women. In line with this vision, the state government is working with full commitment for the upliftment of these four groups.
Union minister of state (independent charge) for law and justice Arjun Ram Meghwal said Modi is the first PM to visit the revered Karni Mata Temple in Bikaner. Citing the PM's mantra of Reform, Perform, and Transform, he said amendments to the MMDR Act that have enabled potash mining in the region and increased the possibility of establishing fertiliser plants....
