New Delhi, Jan. 2 -- A 27-year-old woman from Mathura allegedly died by suicide at her friend's rented room in north Delhi's Mukherjee Nagar on Wednesday, police said on Thursday, adding that the reason behind the step is being ascertained. An officer said she was in Delhi to meet her friend, a government job aspirant, around five days before the incident. She had been living in his room. "On Saturday, the friend, left for his hometown.
