Chandigarh, Dec. 4 -- Haryana home minister Anil Vij has directed the superintendents of police (SP) and senior officials of police department to hold an hour-long Janata Darbar in their respective areas at 11am every day to address the grievances of the people and ensure speedy disposal of complaints.

A government spokesperson said the minister has issued orders in this regard.

The minister said police officers will also maintain the record of the complaints received in the Janata Darbar.

He said all the SPs, deputy commissioner of police (DCP) and commissioner of police (CP) will inspect at least one police station located in their respective areas once in two days.
