Three booked for duping Delhi man of Rs.2 crore in property deal
Gurugram, Jan. 21 -- Three individuals, including two landowners and a property dealer, have been booked for allegedly duping a Delhi resident of Rs.2 crore. Police did not disclose the names of the accused citing pending probe.
The 65-year-old victim from Safdarjung Enclave was lured in 2017 to invest in a stalled MG Road project. After investing, he was excluded from the property registry. An officer said, "the landowners registered two-thirds of the property in their own names and one-third in the name of the construction firm, excluding the victim."
An FIR under IPC was lodged. Sandeep Turan, public relation officer of Gurugram police, said, "All the relevant documents will be collected...and action will be taken."debashish karmakar...
