Rudrapur, April 1 -- An investigation has been launched into the alleged suicide of a 30-year-old man in Bindukhatta area of Nainital district after a video purportedly showing him with spurious liquor was circulated online, police said on Tuesday. "We have not received any complaint from the relatives of the deceased, but we have initiated a probe. The investigation will be conducted from every angle," said Brijmohan Singh, inspector at Lalkuan Police Station, on Tuesday. Police said the man, a resident of Bindukhatta, was stopped by a group of women activist, who recovered spurious liquor from his vehicle (scooter). They recorded the incident and posted it online.
