Gurugram, May 21 -- In a meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday, Gurugram deputy commissioner (DC) Yash Garg said that the district had administered at least one vaccination dose against Covid-19 to 30% of its population.
Garg said they were leveraging technology to build capacity and aggressively holding vaccination camps to flatten the infection curve.
On the day, Modi had a virtual conference with around 54 district officials from 10 states that reported the highest Covid-19 caseloads. Apart from Haryana, there were officials from Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, West Bengal, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan.
