Plastic waste to be used in making all new roads
Gurugram, May 3 -- Beginning this month, the Municipal Corporation of Gurugram (MCG) plans to construct all new roads in the city using waste plastic modified cement concrete (WPMCC), in which hot plastic is used as binding material in road-laying mixtures. A work order to this effect was issued by the chief engineer of the MCG last month after tests on a stretch in Sector 51 yielded positive results. ...
