Gurugram, Dec. 24 -- A 28-year-old man was arrested on Monday in Nuh for allegedly impersonating officers from the Indian Army and police to dupe several people. The accused, Mohammad Mursalim, a resident of Pingawa village, was found with a phone and a SIM card issued on a fake address. Nuh Police's public relations officer Krishan Kumar said, "The accused created several fake profiles on social media platforms, threatening people with false police complaints or posting about selling costly furniture and household items due to a transfer." He would extort money or receive payments for goods that never existed. Investigators revealed at least five complaints against him in Rajasthan and one at Nuh's Cyber police station.
