Gurugram, May 22 -- Concerned over the poor performance in Class 10 and Class 12 Haryana board exams, state education minister Mahipal Dhanda, on Wednesday, summoned principals, headmasters, block education officers (BEOs), and the district education officer (DEO) from all districts schools which had the worst results for a meeting in Chandigarh. Officials in Nuh district, which was the worst-performing region among Haryana's 22 districts, cited a severe shortage of teachers as the primary reason behind the district's poor outcomes, in Wednesday's meeting in Panchkula. Three schools from Nuh recorded a 0% pass rate in the Haryana Board examinations for Class 12, results for which were declared on May 13. Faridabad also had a substantial number of underperforming schools. With a pass percentage of 45.76%, a total of 7,588 students from Nuh district appeared for the Class12 board exams, out of which only 3,472 passed - 1,758 received compartmental, and 2,358 failed outright....
