Gurugram, Aug. 25 -- The Municipal Corporation of Gurugram (MCG) led a series of cleanliness drives across the district on Sunday, urging citizens to join. Pradeep Dahiya, MCG commissioner, began at Sector-34 with Additional Commissioner Ravindra Yadav in shramdaan and reviewed sanitation at South City-2 and Carterpuri. He ordered strengthening of bins and curbs on polythene. Sandeep Kumar, senior sanitation inspector, said, "A clean city cannot be achieved by government efforts alone. The MCG is committed to upgrading waste management and sanitation systems, but unless every resident contributes to keeping their surroundings clean, we cannot build the Gurugram we all aspire for."
