Gurugram, June 10 -- A 24-year-old man died after his SUV rear-ended a truck that was parked illegally on the main carriageway of the Delhi-Mumbai expressway near Kheri Kalan village in Nuh, police said on Monday. They identified the deceased as Rahul Chauhan, originally from Mitrol village in Palwal. He owned a transport firm and was a final-year law student in a university in Jaipur. Inspector Subhash Chand, station house officer of the Pinangwa police station, said that Chauhan had gone to meet one of his friends in Alwar and was travelling to Gurugram, when the crash took place at about 5.34am on Saturday. "Chauhan was travelling alone in his Mahindra Scorpio. He was killed instantly. It seems that he dozed off behind the wheel causing the vehicle to veer off course and it ended up ramming the truck parked on the last lane of the expressway," the police official said. Police said that the collision was recorded clearly in a CCTV camera near the spot which shows that Chauhan had woken up two to three seconds before the crash. They said that the truck driver had fled from the spot and was yet to be traced. Based on a complaint by Chauhan's uncle Meghraj Chauhan, an FIR was registered under sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita on Saturday....
